IN PANAMA

Panama City is a modern capital located between the rainforest and the sea. It preserves its ruins and raises skyscrapers: it remembers its past and moves toward the future. Begin your journey through the history of our city in Panama Viejo: the first city founded on the Pacific Ocean during the Spanish conquest.

Climb the stairs of Panama’s first grand tower and compare it to the skyscrapers of today. From this vantage point, you will be presented with a remarkable view of the modern city and its history. Step backward in time and visit Casco Antiguo (Old Quarter): the walled city that was constructed after the devastation of Panama Viejo. In this historical corner, you won't find high-rise buildings, but rather, beautiful colonial churches, cobblestone streets, monuments from the dawn of the Republic, and museums dedicated to its history.

Embark on a journey of discovery as you wander through the winding streets and grand plazas of this vibrant destination. Immerse yourself in local culture with a refreshing "raspao", a traditional treat that's sure to beat the heat. Marvel at the stunning modern city, known as the Latin American version of Dubai, with its towering skyscrapers and lush parks that cover acres of pristine natural beauty.

For the ultimate experience, take a 20-minute hike to the summit of Ancon Hill and bask in the breathtaking panoramic views of the Old City, the Reconstructed City, and the Modern City, all nestled within the lush tropical rainforest of the national capital. Don't miss out on this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see it all!
