Cab service has an average cost of USD 3-8 within the capital and USD 30.00 from Airport City. If the transportation is for tourist purposes, the price is USD 18.00 per hour.
RAILWAY
The Panama Canal Interoceanic Railway connects the Pacific and Atlantic coasts in a route of only 80 km bordering the Panama Canal and surrounded by lush tropical forests. One-way daily services are available at 7:15 a.m. from Panama City to Colon City; and 5:15 p.m. from Colon City to Panama City (1-hour trip). One-way ticket cost: USD 25.00 for adults. (Children and Retired customers may apply for a discount)
